1. Who we are
NestDrop is provided by Stephen Bown (trading as NestDrop), of 49 St Andrews Road, Yeovil, BA20 2DF, United Kingdom. Contact: [CONTACT EMAIL — set up with your domain]. When you use NestDrop you are contracting with Stephen Bown.
2. Accepting these terms
By creating an account or continuing to use NestDrop, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the service.
3. The service
NestDrop lets you upload, store, organise and share files online. Free accounts include 5 GB; paid plans give more space as described on our plans page.
4. Your account
- You must be at least 18, or have permission from a parent or guardian, and have authority to bind any organisation you act for.
- Keep your login details confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
5. Acceptable use
You must not use NestDrop to:
- break any law or store or share illegal content;
- commit fraud, send spam or distribute malware;
- infringe anyone's copyright, trademarks or other rights;
- interfere with the security of the service, including probing, scanning, scraping or bypassing limits;
- reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the service.
6. Your files
You keep ownership of your files. You give us a limited licence to store, process and transmit them only to provide the service to you. You are responsible for having the rights to anything you upload and share. Rights-holders can report infringing content to [CONTACT EMAIL]; repeat infringers' accounts will be closed.
7. Our intellectual property
Stephen Bown owns the NestDrop software, design, documentation and branding. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service within your plan.
8. Payments and subscriptions
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, renewal, cancellation and refund terms are set out in Paddle's Buyer Terms. See also our Refund Policy.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. If you cancel, you keep your plan's space until the end of the paid period, then return to the free 5 GB. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades take effect at renewal.
9. Going over your storage limit
If your files exceed your plan's space (for example after cancelling or downgrading), we will warn you. If you remain over the limit for 30 days, we may delete your most recently uploaded files until you are within your limit.
10. Service availability
We work hard to keep NestDrop running, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Keep your own copies of important files. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close your account for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You can close your account at any time. When an account is closed, its files are deleted within 30 days.
12. Liability
Our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profits, data or goodwill. Nothing limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that cannot be limited by law.
13. General
We are not responsible for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control. You may not transfer your account without our consent; we may transfer these terms as part of a merger or sale. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes will be handled by its courts. We may update these terms and will tell you about significant changes.
